By: Marco | August 13th, 2008Ciao calcio tifosi! You are probably wondering why I am covering Atlanta. (Get it? Atalanta….Atlanta? maybe its just me but I guess the city in the states has nothing to do with Atalanta, Bergamo.) I love the Serie A and I have been reading the Offsides blogs for sometime now and I saw that some teams weren’t being covered so I jumped at the chance to write about the Serie A. Its the greatest league in the world. Match fixing, cheating and dirty refs? It only makes it more interesting! Who needs river dancing wingers and ugly players when you have a beautiful league with the exception of Kaladze beacuse he is one ugly man. Not as ugly as Ribery but could you imagine if Kaladze and Ribery had….never mind.
Alright back on topic you are probably wondering who Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio, Atalanta Bergamo or just Atalanta are. They aren’t the greatest team in the world but the Nerazzurri have some potential to do things in the future and are a decent mid-table team. I will write up a shiny, brand spanking new, epic team report in another post so this one doesn’t drag on.
